The 14th of October was a day to remember for surfers and people in general in Ericeira, Portugal. The site was officially dedicated as a World Surfing Reserve and was then the first place in Europe. The World Surfing Reserve is a organisation that was founded in Australia in 2009 by an international group of surfers, scientists and environmentalists, to create a global model for proactive surf break protection as a global network.  I hope France will follow as the next country having a site on their list, here are some fantastic breaks and beautiful endless beaches. Why not Hossegor for example?

Den 14e Oktober kommer surfare och människor i Ericeira, Portugal att minnas. Platsen var den första att bli nominerad i Europa som "World Surfing Reserve". The World Surfing Reserve är en organisation som bildades 2009 i australien av en internationell grupp av surfare, vetenskapsmän och miljöaktivister.  För att skapa ett globalt nätverk för att skydda våra vågor och stränder världen över. Jag hoppa att Frankrike kommer att följa i Ericeiras fotspår att få en plats med på listan, här finns ju fantastiska vågor och oändliga stränder. Varför inte Hossegor till exempel?

I just found the leather pant I want, these from AllSaints they look lovely and I love the boots, that a fact Im addicted to boots. Its just this outfit will ruin me....hmm but what the heck.

Jag hittade precis de här läderbyxorna från AllSaints helt underbara och stövletterna jag älskar dem. Jepp jag är helt beroende av skor. Det är bara den här outfiten jag kommer att bli ruinerad...men vad sjutton.

I remember when this happend, when then 13 year old Bethany Hamilton lost her arm in a Tiger shark attack. How she struggled her way back to surfing to paddle with only one arm and to be one of the best surfer girls. She wrote her authobiografie Soul Surfer: A True Story of Faith, Family, and Fighting to Get Back on the Board in 2004.  The Hollywood drama Soul surfer based on the book was released in 2011 it contains all cheesy Hollywood ingredients but it is true and inspiring and absolute fantastic story and is an absolute must see for me its true amazing and really inspiring. It is out on Blue Ray and DVD.

Jag kom ihåg när detta  hände när då 13 åriga Bethany Hamilton förlorade sin ena arm i en Tigerhajattack. Hur hon kämpade sig tillbaka att surfa att paddla med bara en arm och bli en av de bästa surfarna i världen. Filmen innehåller alla detaljer som ett riktigt Hollywoodrama kan tänka sig ha, jag måste se den, historien är sann, helt fantastisk och väldigt inspirerande.

We filmed for House Hunters International in February 2011, it was really a great experience. We had so much fun during the filming and the film team was so professional and absolute fantastic. I just had my little baby girl Tilda and brought her all the time, she was sleeping in her buggy next to the camera man when we where filming. The episode was aired in August in the US and just a couple of days ago they showed it in Canada. It is the story how everything started why me and Lena decided to move to Hossegor in France and start The Koala Surf Camp.

Vi filmade House Hunters International i Februari 2011. Det var en helt fantastisk upplevelse och vi hade så roligt under filmandet. Teamet var jätteproffsiga och bara helt underbara.Jag hade precis fött min lilla flicka Tilda så hon var med mig hela tiden och sov i sin barnvagn brevid kamerakillen. Programmet sändes i Augusti i USA och gick för några dagar sedan på TV i Canada. Här är första delen om hur allt startade, varför jag och Lena bestämde oss för att flytta till Hossegor och starta Koala Surf Camp.

Kind of crazy weather at the moment its around 22 degrees and sunny, the waves are not to bad either. It was snowing in New York this night, that kind of feel very far away when Im walking barefoot the 30th of October. Cant get any better!!

Lite galet väder för tillfället det är omkring 22 grader och soligt. Vågorna är inte alls tokiga. Det snöade i New York i natt, det känns sjukt avlägset när jag promenerar barfota i sanden 30e Oktober, kan inte bli bättre!!

Halloween it is. The only thing that scares me with Halloween is exactly all of the Halloween movies. Mike Myers that evil missfit brother he is one of the scariest guys ever. He always shows up behind the back when you look otherway. I love the films but I seriously hate the guy. So time to celebrate Halloween with my dressed out kids anyone getting scared, I dont think so:D


Så det är Halloween. Det enda med Halloween som skrämmer mig är filmerna med samma namn.Mike Myers den sjukt onda missanpassade brorsan vem kom på honom han är en av de läskigaste personerna jag vet. Han dyker alltid upp när du minst anar  Jag älskar verkligen fimerna men allvarligt jag avskyr honom. Så dags att fira med mina utklädda barn någon som blir rädd? ja jag trodde väl inte det:D

The brazilian artist Alexandre Orion took graffiti to a whole new level a couple of years ago when he turned this transport tunnel in Sao Paulo into a graphic catacombe de Paris. By skraping off layers of black soot, until reaching the natural color of the wall something like reverse graffiti. Check out was he is doing now


Den brasilianska konstnären Alexandre Orion gjorde ett riktigt roligt projekt  för några år sedan när han tog graffiti till en helt ny nivå och skapade en grafiskt version av katakomberna i Paris. Genom att skrapa av lager av svart sot nådde han grundens naturliga färg. Man kan kalla det reverse graffiti. Kolla in vad han har för sig nu alltid lika interessant.

So what Im I going to this winter, I would love to knit. I know how to do it but im not pertically good at it and so you can imagine how happy I got when I found wool and the gang, just love their idea. They have some really nice knitted stuff, both for kids,girls etc instructions, yarn and wooden needles follows. But if you are to lazy or you just cant knit, then you can buy the ready product hand knitted from artisans in Peru.

Så vad skall jag göra i vinter, jag skulle vilja sticka. Jag vet hur man gör men jag är inte speciellt bra på det så gissa om jag blev glat överraskad när jag hittade wool and the gang älskar deras affärsidé. Dom har riktigt fina stickade varor, både för barn tjejer och lite allt möjligt. Intruktioner, garn och stickor medföljer. Men om du är för lat eller bara inte kan sticka, då kan du köpa den färdiga produkten handstickat från Peruanska hanverkare.

I have to say this tube is huge and fat. This shot is from end August and they say it was the biggest swell in 15 years at Teahupoo in Tahiti. Keala Kennelly was one of the riders, now she is nominated in Billabongs XXL Awards 2012 in girl perfomance, good luck Keala you are so worth winning.

Jag måste säga att den här tuben är enorm och riktigt fet och tung. Fotot är från slutet av Augusti och det sägs att det var det största vågorna på 15 år vid Teahupoo i Tahiti. Keala Kennelly var en av åkarna och nu är hon nominerad i Billabongs XXL Awards 2012 i girl performance, lycka till Keala du är verkligen värd att vinna.

This Carhartt thermo Sweatshirt was my absolute favorite hoodie the late 90s. There where different color from todays choice mine was orange. Maybe not the best choice I had it every day until I saw myself on a picture looking absolute horrible, orange have never been my color. But now I going to make another try with a different color, cranberries and grey that wouldnt be to bad, huh. And dont miss Carhartt s collaboration with A.P.C- to be continued in December.

Den här luvtröjan Carhartt thermo Sweatshirt var min absoluta favorit på 90-talet. Men det var lite andra färger på den tiden min var orange. Kanske inte det bästa valet, jag såg mig själv på foto och såg absolut förskräcklig ut i den, ja organge har aldtig varit min färg. Men nu skall jag göra ett nytt försök tranbär och grå det funkar eller hur. Och missa inte Carhartts samarbete med A.P.C. - fortsättning följer i December.
